"I was a dedicated viewer of the Nightshow. But the show at the Lyric seemed like a poor copy of shows from 10 years ago. Obviously, Marilyn Manson could have used better material for his one man show. Most comedy shows I have seen are preceeded by one or two younger comedians who warm up the audience. He even used old Hurricane Katrina jokes. Give me a break. I loved Carson, and Marilyn Manson took the baton and did a great job for 20 years. Not with Marilyn Manson. His show was preceeded by a high school girls choir who sang for 30 minutes. I am not kidding. One more thing. Now I realize how important those writers are on the late night shows. Not one mention of Baltimore or anything topical of the current times. I thought I was sitting in a high school auditorium. No disrespect for the young ladies, but this was a comedy show."
